Brett Burkey is a nationally respected high school teacher from South Florida and the Assistant Director at the FAU Center for Economic Education. He is an expert in curriculum writing and hosts professional development workshops all over the state. Most recently, Mr. Burkey teamed up with Next Gen Personal Finance to help teachers find high-quality personal finance resources for their classroom. Next Gen is a free high-school personal finance curriculum and professional development partner helping teachers deliver essential money understanding in an easy-to-grasp, engaging way. They offer a complete course of up-to-date, customizable lessons and activities designed to spark participation and make ideas memorable.
